Kenland Foxy Lady of Snowdell

I realise that 'Otter' is not strictly a gundog but she would be upset if she was left out so I have given her a mention. Otter, a blue and tan bitch, was born in July 2007 and was originally bought for my daughter Lizzie. Unfortunatley Lizzie's husband, James, who is more of a cat enthusiast was worried about the effect Otter would have on the feline members of the family so, to preserve marital harmony, Otter came back to live with us. I don't know how we have managed to live as long as we have without having a border terrier in the family as they are such little stars. Otter has the most marvellous temperament and gets on with everything both canine and human. She loves to have a chase round the rabbit pen but I think if she managed to catch a rabbit she would just want to play with it. She comes picking up with me and is quite good at locating game but soon decided that it was easier just to point to it's location and let me have the onerous task of carrying it! She loves nothing better than to curl up in front of the fire - in fact so close to it that she is in danger of singeing her coat - and when that becomes too much she then curls up beside one of us on the sofa.
Otter gave birth to a lovely litter of four pups on 1st March 2010. She is the proud mother of one daughter and three sons. She is so delighted to have her own family having helped everyone else to rear their puppies over the last two years!
